R&B singer Jesse Powell is best known for his 1999 song “You.” “You” reached No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard charts, as well as No. 2 on the R&B charts.
Throughout his entire career, Jesse released four albums, with the most recent being in 2003. Some of his other songs include “I Wasn’t With It,” “If I”, “All I Need” and “Gloria.”
Jesse Powell and his siblings performed at a local talent show in the early 90s and later he was discovered by a producer named Carl Roland.
Jesse is the older brother of popular R&B singers Trina Powell and Tamara Powell. The women formed the group, Trina & Tamara.
