Many former fans have followed singer R. Kelly's downfall. From how his net worth dwindled following the allegations, to how many people in the music industry finally parted ways.

Despite being in prison, Kelly has continued to give people a lot to talk about. At this point, it looks hopeless to outsiders.

Like most other correctional facilities, the prison where Kelly works allows inmates to maintain commission accounts. This is more or less a bank account that inmates can use to shop while in custody.

Although the prison itself sells goods, it is well known that prisoners buy and sell goods (often contraband) informally behind bars.

According to Radar Online, there was $30,000 in R. Kelly's prison account when the government siphoned the funds.

They didn't say where the money came from, what he bought with it, or whether he was even allowed to have that much money on hand.

Kelly allegedly amassed that amount over a period of three years, according to the company.

As is well known, R. Kelly owes a large amount of money to various people, including the government. At one point, he was in so much debt that his net worth was reported to be in the red

Radar Online explained that Kelly's legal team has shown that no liens have been imposed on Kelly's funds and no court orders have been issued.

Moreover, their demands suggest that the government received the money "without legal authority."

A jury of seven men and five women found Kelly guilty of racketeering on the second day of trial. The charges were based on allegations
